BREKEND: Dutch Comic Scam.

Over een week begint in de Jaarbeurs in Utrecht Dutch Comic Con. En terwijl Jake al een week bezig is zijn Chewbacca-pak (Chewparka?) te kammen en Taart voor de spiegel staat te oefenen op een grimmig ‘I am the Batman’, gaat er een niet zo enorm tof mailtje rond over Ivan Lok, de organisator van Dutch Comic Con en eigenaar van Comic Toys. In dat mailtje wordt Lok onder andere beschuldigt van diefstal. Ook wordt er verklaard waarom de site van Comic Toys al een tijdje uit de lucht is. Dat ligt dus helemaal niet aan Ellen Boots (tot op heden een van de eigenaars van Comic Toys en de ex van Lok). Die zou in een vlaag van woede en verstandsverbijstering de stekker uit de site hebben getrokken en met de noorderzon zijn vertrokken. Althans, dat staat er te lezen op de Facebook pagina van Comic Toys. Volgens de zich nu rap over Facebook verspreidende mail ligt het aan Lok zelf, die ongeveer $ 20.000 aan financieel geld van anderen gebruikt om de stoere bink uit te hangen en zijn nieuwe mokkel op leuke spullen te trakteren. If any one of my friends is considering attending The Dutch Comic Con please read the following info and reconsider your decision –

The organiser Mr Ivan Lok is a theiving individual who has lied not only to his friends but also his business associates and currently has a debt totalling around $20’000 with a very good friend of mine located in Hong Kong, far too much to ignore in my book.

If you are familiar with Mr Lok you will have been witness to his cries for help with regard to his business website being closed down by his ex-wife, this is not the case, this thieving scum bag’s business is not currently active because he used money customers paid him for items not supplied to fuck off around the world on various trips and holidays and the money stolen from my friend to live the good life and treat his current mistress / partner to new clothes, gifts and whatever else they’ve been up to.

In good conscience can you support anything a person like this does ? think about it and please make the right decision, I apologise for the bad language but the fact he has abused someone that helped him build his business up like this makes my blood boil and I can no longer sit around and keep it to my self. He has abused his friends, his ex-wife and his business associates in a way no person should do, I value my friends and partnerships above most things in life and believe standing up for them is the right thing to do, I hope you do to.

If you have business deals with him outstanding please act on them, if you are considering doing business with him or his convention please do not bother for your own sake.
